Join Deep Roots Kay Thomason for a leisurely stroll through trails at Ernie Miller park. We’ll be using apps like iNAturalist, PictureThis, and Merlin. If you ever wanted to learn more about the plants and animals around you but didn’t have someone along to ask, learn how these apps can help with discovery!

Learn about seasonal native plants and their faunal connections from enthusiastic and knowledgeable naturalists. Discover local trails and parks to see how native plants fit into larger ecological systems and gain inspiration for your home gardens.
Native Landscape Chats
Join us at the Anita B. Gorman Conservation Discovery Center each First Friday from 1PM to 2PM for a free naturalist-led walk through the native gardens. Take a closer look at awe-inspiring flowers, grasses, seed heads, and the wildlife they support. Each session features seasonal themes highlighting ways to welcome nature home.
